Preserve Youthful Skin with Himalaya’s Youth Eternity Range- A Review

Let me be honest with you, like most people my age, I never gave anti-aging skin regimens a thought until very recently when I learnt that skin begins to age at 25 years. TWENTY FIVE. I’m sure most of us were unaware of this fact and it’s pretty daunting. So any good dermatologist will tell you, if you’re in your mid-twenties, that you need to begin your anti-aging regimen ASAP to prevent early signs of aging.

I’ve been introduced to Himalaya’s latest Youth Eternity Range which uses Edelweiss derived stem cells and botanical extracts with powerful anti-oxidants and anti-aging properties. When I attended the launch event and gained insights on the intense research and development that has gone through to bring about this range, I was almost convinced about the benefits of these products.

I got my hands on the Youth Eternity Day cream with SPF 15, Youth Eternity Night cream and the Youth Eternity under eye cream and I will share with you my first impressions.

  1. The Himalaya Youth Eternity Day cream with SPF 15-   Perfect for everyday use- this light, non-greasy formula blends into the skin seamlessly leaving the skin supple and moisturised (without the extra oiliness) . I could make do with just a tiny pump which covered my entire face. Since it has a soft dewy finish, it also acts as a great base for your foundation and fortunately, it did not irritate my sensitive skin.

2) The Himalaya Youth Eternity Night Cream-  The night cream is a similar velvety formula but a bit more thicker, which I feel is essential for me because at the end of the day, except for my T-zone, the rest of my face gets dry and feels stripped off it’s moisture. The biggest bonus point about this is that it isn’t oily despite being heavy on the moisturisation. It works well with dry, oily and combination skin types.

3) The Himalaya Youth Eternity Eye Cream–   This sleek tube of under eye cream became an instant favourite of mine as it helped me with my puffy and tired eyes on first application. Constant exposure to the sun, exhaustive days (especially since I wear contact lens) tends to immediately show on my face through puffiness, dark circles and overall tired looking eyes. This product gives my eyes a sort of radiance which I’m especially thankful for during days I have to get up early and want to avoid “morning eyes”. The formula is ultra light, perfect for the sensitive skin under the eyes and has a soothing effect.

The products follow a non-comedogenic formula so it is suitable for all skin types. And since it has herbal extracts, it is very good for the skin in the long run. I am all for affordable and thoughtful skincare products that besides having pretty packaging and decent price point, takes care of the real problem at hand. And of course, as with any routine, you will be able to ideally experience the results with consistent usage, at least for a minimum of 4 weeks.

I’m already impressed with the first impressions and I can’t wait to see the difference in 4 weeks time! It’s a YES from me.
