A quick peek into my most used apps and you’ll quickly spot Instagram, Snapchat and VSCO. And all the three apps have one thing in common- pictures. Let’s not deny the very strong existence of pictures in our tech savvy lifestyle and that struggle to extract the most perfect picture. The picture goes through different phases from when it is taken. It gets edited and altered, gets fit into Instagram size and finally gets uploaded onto the hall of fame. And it all starts with a perfect camera. A picture is only as good as the camera that captures it.
Now since I blog extensively- which also means taking innumerable pictures, a major part of my time is spent in producing quality photos for my social media. Which is why I’d like to elaborate on a phone that manages to rid you off the burden of a DSLR.
Taking pictures on the Vivo V5s means you get a cut above the rest with the 20- megapixel front camera which has a resolution higher than a regular rear camera. What struck me the most, however, is the camera’s performance under low light conditions. You can use the ‘Moonlight Glow’ feature which uses flash to illuminate just your face or sometimes even make do without it because the phone takes care of that. In turn, you will get evenly saturated pictures with no harsh flash light that takes away the features of your face.
Additionally, the ‘Group Selfie’ mode is is great for fitting everyone in the picture without cutting anybody’s facial features off the frame. It’s almost like a panorama for selfies. The HDR mode is great for travel photography to capture vivid detail. And the Face Beauty feature saves you the time that you might’ve taken to brighten and clear all the blemishes on your skin through an app. There’s also a professional mode which you can use to adjust ISO sensitivity, white balance and shutter speed.
Of course, I have only elaborated on the camera feature as that’s the first thing I look for in a mobile phone. The second most important thing is the appearance. I’m all in for a phone that is sleek, premium-looking, modern and easy to carry. With a metal body in crown gold, rounded edges, a 5.5 inch display and a thickness of 7.5 mm, I’m sold. The phone doesn’t slip off your hand and that’s exactly what a person who constantly uses their phone needs.
Additionally, it runs on Android v6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system. The device is powered by a Octa core, 1.5 GHz, Cortex A53 processor paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB ROM. As far as the battery is concerned it has 3000 mAh. Over that, as far as the rear camera is concerned this mobile has a 13 MP camera .
If you love your selfies and feel like everything would be much better if you didn’t have to take a gazillion photos before finding the #PerfectSelfie , then the only thing you’re missing is a Vivo V5s. The best part is that it doesn’t even break your bank with a modest price tag of INR 17,990/-
